Maura O'Connell, D.O.
Dr. O'Connell grew up in Allen Park and graduated from Cabrini High School. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Michigan State University. She followed in her Dad's footsteps and attended Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine graduating in 1998. She stayed at CCOM to complete residencies in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. She moved back to Michigan in 2002 and started working Downriver seeing both adults and children. After 20 years in her own practice, she joined Woodhaven Pediatrics in 2023.
She and her husband have four children, three girls and one boy. She loves spending time with them and juggling all of their activities. She enjoys dancing, athletics and traveling - mostly to Ireland where she can spend time with family.
